Synopsis: | One of the problems with pub theatre, I find, is the sometimes irresistible feeling that people are having more fun in the bar downstairs. There's no danger of that with 'Tuesdays!' - partly because it takes place in the bar downstairs, and partly because the show is as much fun as can be. Or at least, Episode One was. For 'Tuesdays!' is a six-part serial; a new episode is staged each week. The action unfolds in both 1806 and 2007. In the nineteenthcentury, humble Surrey-dweller Isaac Tuesdays dreams of opening a pub and is given money to do so by a local factory with dark secrets to conceal. In the present day, a shapsuited corporate couple hatch a devious scheme to close down the bar that Tuesdays has become -the very bar we're sitting in. But not before they've bled it dry, with the help of a new manager, the libidinous Aussie fugitive, Connor Connorson.

Synopsis: | Here is the quirky USP (it's a play about two officers from FACT- The Federation Against Copyright Theft - for goodness' sake) hiding not so quirky content (one of them is sleeping with the other's wife; the other one finds out). Here too are the ramshackle, hit-and-miss humour and the conspicuous auteur
