| Synopsis: | Preparations for Murkford's Harvest Supper are underway and Mrs Harkin is trying to clean up the hall before the Choir come in for their final rehearsal. She is hampered by Mrs Pilgrim the vicar's wife, Albert the odd job man, and interruptions by Miss Jarvis and the Bishop. There are also undercurrents about the proposed alteration of use for the village hall site, which the vicar and his wife are against. When Fenton Farthing the council's surveyor appears it is up to Mrs Harkin with Albert's help to ensure (with the Vicar's approval) that he is given genuine village hospitality. | |||||
