Synopsis: | World War Two. Henry whose alcoholism has slightly deranged him is a lookout on the coast of Ireland together with Edward who is middle class and full of mock grandiloquence. Henry has long discussions with his dead father and fires his flare gun at shooting stars to try and bring them down. Edward robs the bodies of dead airmen who get washed up. They are joined by Mary who falls in love with one of the dead airman - American Eugene F Dumas. She tries a resurrectionist spell to bring him back which succeeds but the spell is so powerful it also revives the other dead airmen. | |||||
