Synopsis:
Three one-act plays. The Widow's Might. Set in the lounge bar of a hotel. Strongly drawn characters and a good pace in this stylish and sophisticated script. The Bathing Machine. Set in the parlour of a seaside boarding house somewhere by the sea in the summer of 1910. Ladies must behave with propriety and correct behaviour on an Edwardian holiday, that is, unless you lose your clothes whilst bathing! The White Horse. A great sense of 'something's going to happen' in this excellent play - and it did! Good festival choices here!
