Synopsis:

His often-silent stepfather is a successful doctor. His stay-at-home mom thinks he's the next Julian Schnabel. His nanny bakes him cakes and plans parties whenever his parents go away for the day. You'd think that 6-year-old Sandy Williamson was having an ideal childhood in the moneyed suburbs. Far from it. In Drew Pisarra's twisted satire of the upper crust, this young boy is caught up in a succession of increasingly outlandish scenarios that make the magical fairy tales he hears periodically seem downright normal. With its quippy lines and quick narrative turnarounds, Serves Three reflects the wildly unique improvisational sensibilities of its performers with whom Pisarra developed the script over the last year. Sharing the bill with Serves Three is Heidi Carlsen's Wait, She Waits, a domestic clown show that was actually the inspiration for Drew's short play.
