Synopsis: | Hailed by critics as A Masterpiece, this production was created by the father of TPC cofounder Christopher Piper, and is completely refurbished and adapted for the Puppet Co. stage. Told with life-size marionettes and live actors, it is the story of a puppet that sheds its strings in pursuit of becoming a real boy. His adventures lead him into danger and foul company. A Fox and Cat sell him to an evil puppetmaster, he almost makes a donkey of himself, and to rescue his papa he must be swallowed by a whale. But, in the end, with the help of a talking cricket and a blue fairy, he is reunited with his father and granted his heart's desire. | |||||
