Synopsis: | The entire action takes place aboard an airplane. The stewardess is in love with the pilot but his parents are opposed to the marriage because the girl is a Polish coal miner's daughter, while they are college professors and their son went to Harvard. A supernatural visitor tells the passengers the plane has gone down and they are all dead, but they will be given a chance to save themselves. Their salvation lies in having the parents withdraw their opposition to the marriage. The mother agrees but the father does not. Synopsis: | A plastic surgeon believes that beauty is more than skin deep but a woman novelist who interviews him does not. She has her ugly nose transformed into a beautiful one. The change destroys a lesbian relationship between the novelist and her secretary, thereby proving the surgeon's point. The surgeon discovers a beauty cream which can make women younger and he can become rich as a result. His wife, who previously wanted to divorce him, now changes her mind. In the end she leaves him because he has decided to build a non-profit poor peoples' hospital. The surgeon then begins dating the novelist. | |||||
