Notes:

Adapted by Val ODonnell from the writings of Myles na gCopaleen, aka Flann OBrien, aka Brian ONolan.

Synopsis:

In the centenary year of Myles' birth The Bother with The Brother brings to the stage one of his best known and most endearing characters. Between ourselves, the Government does be callin' the Brother in for consultations. He's promised a certain party to stay in town for the duration of The Emergency. Of course, the Brother is an expert on emergencies, havin' just created the mother and father of all emergencies in the digs, and here I am, left holdin' the fort, mindin' the landlady and lookin' after Arthur. Is it any wonder me patience is wearin' thin? Yes, The Brother is back and causing havoc in the digs! Myles, our greatest satirical writer since Swift, brings 1940's Dublin to life with his trademark wry humour and razor-sharp observation.
