Born in New York on July 28, 1950. B.A., Boston University in English & Romance Languages; Ph.D., McGill University in Comparative Literature. Taught at McGill and Columbia Universities before joining New Dramatists, 1979-80. Has written reviews, translations and poetry. Producing Director for the Dorset Theatre Festival, VT and Director for the Dorset Colony House for Writers.
