Synopsis: | America. 1952. The war in Korea grinds on as McCarthy s anti-Communist witch-hunts reach their peak. Meanwhile, in a run-down Burlesque Theater, popular comedian Johnny Reno is trying to keep a low profile. Blacklisted for not co-operating with the authorities, Johnny is rapidly running out of options. Until a chance to clear his name at once promises to save him and threatens to tear his world apart. When a country goes insane - someone has to make a stand. A tale of sex, politics, persecution and the birth of the culture of terror.
