Synopsis:

In 2000, the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk sank whilst on an exercise in the Barents Sea. At first the Russians declined all help from the West to rescue the crew. By the time they agreed, it was too late. In this outstanding new play, we experience the plight of the submariners below the surface and the political and moral turmoil above
