Alistair McDowall is a writer from the North East. His previous plays include: eighteen stupid reasons why i love you lots and lots (Best New Writing (Won), Buxton Fringe 09) 5:30 (Best New Play (Nominated), Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards), Nettles (Contact Theatre) and Daisies (24/7 Theatre Festival). His work has been performed at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Contact Theatre, Library Theatre and 24/7 Theatre Festival in Manchester, and The Young Vic in London. He is the founder and artistic director of Cheap Seats theatre company.
