Playwrights James Ley, Mairead Martin, John McCann and Rachel Clive have recently completed the Playwrights' Studio Scotland mentoring scheme, and are delighted to present extracts of their work in this collaborative event between the Playwrights' Studio and the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival with support of the Arches. The event will present rehearsed readings of extracts from the following four plays: | |||||
Synopsis: | Keegan ran away from his world in Britain. He doesn't want to be a father. He doesn't want his son. Now on a train journey, he is watching India speed by. The blind man opposite is being shut out of Keegan's world but it will be revealed. It is only waiting in the shadows of his mind. | |||||
