Synopsis: | In order to save Iphigenia from being sacrificed by her father, the goddess Artemis spirits her away to Tauris. There, she becomes a priestess in the Temple of Artemis where one of her tasks is to ritually sacrifice any foreigner who lands on the shores of Tauris. Soon after, her brother, Orestes, arrives and Iphigenia must decide whether to kill her brother or risk her own life by helping him to escape. | |||||
