Synopsis: | Based on a real case, Jailbait is the story of a 14 year-old girl, who for better or worse, finds her destiny at the sharp edge of a blade. What sequence of events could possibly result in her perpetrating an act of murder? Can she ever be justified in violence? Does she deserve our applause or condemnation? In Jacobean tragedies we relish witnessing the cruellest of acts occurring to the most vulnerable. What makes us gasp and delight in horrific fictional detail and not do the same in our everyday life? The Young Murderess is about a young person in crisis, on the brink of the age of consent and on a precipice overlooking her fate | |||||
