Stephen Ludwig has a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's in Comparative Literature. He has been an adult education tutor and college administrator and now runs the campus bookshop at Golden West College. He only started writing plays in his fifties after taking classes. He wrote his first play "Accidental Dancers" after being challenged by the teacher of the writing course to "write from a real and personal perspective". He founded the New Voices Playwrights Workshop of Orange County (California) and is on the Board of the Rude Guerrilla Theater Company.
