Synopsis: | Four soldiers and their families all wrestling with the challenges of being in the army and deployments. A young Sergeant whose idealistic picture of the army is shattered when he is confronted with the horrors of war and his wifes emerging independence during his first deployment in Iraq; a divorced, workaholic Lieutenant Colonel who is torn between his demanding job and the first promising relationship with a woman that hes had in years; a pot-smoking Private and high school drop-out who falls into the army as a last resort; and a female Lieutenant serving in the shadow of her late, highly decorated father who has to choose between two equally frightening options: staying in a career she hates or leaving the only way of life shes ever known. | |||||
