Synopsis: | Panchito is an illiterate baker - he is also the town drunk. However when he is drunk he develops a photographic memory so when his daughter reads the newspaper to him - next day he remembers it all. An older man is paying attentions to the daughter - Lupita. Lupita is only fifteen and Panchito is most unhappy about this. He gets a friend to write a threatening letter to the older man - but the friend is a pacifist and the letter he writes is quite different - but it has the right effect as the older man is very moved by it.
