Manny Liyes is an actor and playwright from Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Baruch College with a B.A. in English Literature, he went on to study at The Acting Studio, Creative Acting Company and The School for Film and Television. He has appeared in several plays including Cactus Flower, Toughing Slumaria, Six Degrees of Separation, Barcinda Forest and Jack Kerouac: Catholic. He wrote his first play in 2006, a comedy entitled Burke. Over the next three years his plays have been featured in the NYC International Fringe Festival: Analog Friend (2007), Choke City (2008) and Savage International (2009).
