Brian began 'performance life' in the heady Sixties when he played and sang with various aspiring pop groups travelling the length and breadth of the UK and occasionally the autobahns of Europe. Alas these excursions into music were to remain as they commenced - aspiring - and after one too many freezing nights parked somewhere near to Dresden the lure of a regular income demanded a change of direction. Thus a career in social work was to follow the music interest to become a regular part-time indulgence whilst spawned the ever popular Black Country band 'Giggetty.' From 1972 to 1998 'Giggetty' produced 9 albums, wrote several advertising jingles, similarly a number of local T.V. theme intros, contributed to T.V. documentary soundtracks, appeared on national and local T.V. in excess of 80 times, hosted their own local radio programme for 2 years and gigged in excess of 100 performances per year. Following a serious illness the live work became largely untenable and a further change of direction was called for. Thus, stemming from a lifelong passion with the theatre, the playwright was born. In addition to writing there followed the forming of a small touring theatre 'Beesknees Touring Theatre', the establishing of 2 net based publishing companies which aim to represent new and innovative writings and a rush of 'music biogs' which form the basis of much of Brian's current output.
