Meron Langsner was one of three writers in the US selected for the pilot year of the National New Play Network Emerging Playwright Residences. His work has been performed around the US and overseas, and developed at the Lark New Play Development Center, New Repertory Theatre, the Last Frontier Theatre Conference (where he later returned as a featured artist), and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. His drama publishers include Smith & Kraus, Applause, YouthPLAYS, NorthNorthwest, Lamia Ink, and JAC. Meron's scholarly publishers include McFarland, Oxford University Press, and Puppetry International. He has also been published as a poet, journalist, and humorist. Meron is also active as a professional fight director and director, as well as a theatre educator. He holds an MFA in Playwriting from Brandeis and an MA in Performance Studies from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Meron is currently a doctoral candidate in Theatre History at Tufts University, where he received the award for Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education.
