Synopsis: Despite the impossible ideals of youth, the wandering eye, and the irascibility of later years, Love Triumphs in this enchanted evening of five one-acts. Act I opens with 'Faded Photographs' where two mature men, once passionate lovers, re-meet on a moonlit cruise 20+ years later. Next is 'Roadside Assistance' which follows two young country men, walking along a lonely stretch of backroad, who realize their relationship needs more work than their broken-down truck. Some light comic relief ends the first act with '. . .Or Not To Be?' as three close friends sip lattes, gossip about their love lives, and learn that their friendship is the one certainty in their uncertain lives. Act II begins on a lofty look-out point with the passionate 'Twice Blessed,' where two men (already in other long-term relationships) expose their hearts and fears to each other. And completing the evening.s arc is 'The Virgin Tango,' the tale of two gay teens who celebrate a romantic night at the Senior prom. . . in a storeroom just off the dance floor.
