| Synopsis: | Sailing from the Moon is the comic love story of a young man and woman who struggle with what they want out of love and life. George, a young man armed with a degree in philosophy and now working a supermarket cash register, idealizes women to an angelic level whereas Jamie, punk rocker, hypersexualizes her romantic feelings. The plot is a modern Drawing Room comedy complete with intrigue, entrapment and sword fighting. George uses alcohol to trick Charles, Jamie’s current boyfriend, to admit inconstancy on a tape recorder. George thrashes Charles, Jamie thrashes George, George psychologically thrashes himself. Finally both George and Jamie relax to realize who they really are and begin to relate on a human level. George without his books of other people’s ideas and Jamie without her affected tough-girl attitude in the way. | |||||
