| Synopsis: | This solo show, written and performed by Caribbean American actor Juliette Jeffers, is a touching and quirky biographical tale of two siblings. It chronicles their life and loss, from their exuberant childhood games as Batman and Robin, to the sudden passing of the older brother at the age of 33. In Act I we see that the sister has become ill after her brother's death. She tries a myriad of alternative treatments from acupuncture to biofeedback to get better but nothing works. So she decides to go home to connect with her brother's spirit. In Act II the brother comes back in spirit form to answer some of his beloved sister's questions and to give her some peace and closure. Both siblings tell their stories from their points of view through flashbacks. - nytheatre.com | |||||
