Mick and Dee meet in a karaoke bar in Boston. Both are looking for answers and a way out of their current situation. Dee has just separated from an abusive crime lord husband and is seeking a divorce and to keep custody of her two boys. She suffered a closed head injury and has a $40 million lawsuit trial coming up. Her Ex blames the injury for her wanting a divorce and wants half of the money and claims Dee is an unfit mother and wants custody of his boys and future heir to their wealthy grandparent's estate. Her sleaze attorney sees his opportunity to get with her (she owes him substantial fees) and the money. Officer Diablito, a crooked cop, who is trying to make detective, and needs this bust to do so, he sees his chance to finally get with his obsession Dee, and to use her to get an arrest on her mafia boss husband. Mick seeks truth in love. He's disillusioned at corporate life; he's broke and has failed repeatedly at love. He seeks only truth and meaning in life and suddenly finds it with Dee. He is sucked into a living nightmare as external events surrounding Dee destroy the truth and love they find in each other. The play starts off at Mick's apartment in the throws of their sex and passion and ends at the Karaoke bar they had first met at. Imagine if Tarantino wrote and directed porn for on stage or film? What type of play/film would it be? It would be Sex, Fucking, and Making Love.
