Synopsis: | Thousands are dying. Thousands are avoiding. What happens when we choose to wear blinders in an environment of suffering and chaos? When we try to escape the inescapable? In a devised interpretation of Edgar Allan Poe's short story, The Masque of the Red Death, HiveMind Theater blends physical theater and puppetry to imagine what happens in a castle whose inhabitants are seeking refuge from a deadly plague. Prince Prospero proposes a radical means of finding a cure, but his closest advisor and friend uncover the truth behind his motives. | |||||
