Kim Hanna's productions include Hypoxia Zone, produced July 2004 by StageWorks Theatre, Tampa, FL; Jane Avril: La Derniere Grisette, produced April 2004 at the Baltimore Museum of Art and November 2003 at the Tampa Museum of Art. Kim has an MA (University of South FL, Tampa, FL) in Fiction Writing [English] and a BA (Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, FL) in Creative Writing (with Honors). She has been the playwright-in-residence at various public middle- and high-schools through American Stage (St. Petersburg, FL), Ruth Eckerd Hall (Clearwater, FL), and for the last several years has been in residence at Plant HS (Tampa, FL). Awards include "Best Playwright" Weekly Planet 'Best of the Bay' 2004; Hypoxia Zone, a "Top 10 Play" Weekly Planet 'Top Ten Plays of 2004,' and Hillsborough County Arts Council Individual Artists Award Winner 2010.
