Valerie Goodwin has been teaching Drama since 1983 and started writing plays for performance in schools and youth theatres when she could not find a suitable adaptation for Frankenstein that fit the demanding criteria as follows:-large cast,simple set,sticks closely to original and has possibility for songs. Valerie has now had her plays performed in Dublin, Edinburgh fringe, Michigan and Lincoln, as well as all over the UK.her 'toolkit' is a best seller on her website as is her collection of monologues ( 'when you're ready').
