| Synopsis: | Mayor Blair is an ambitious politician who has a beautiful daughter (who meets and marries a handsome prince) and a not-so-beautiful secretary, Dame Drimple. King Cuthbert, who is motivated only by riches, allows his son to marry the mayor's daughter after she apparently spins straw into gold. Rumpelstitlskin is a mischievous dwarf with magical powers who slips in and out of the plot causing havoc at every opportunity and eventually gets his comeuppance when the stones inside a secret cave come alive and reveal his secret name. More slapstick is provided by three comic policemen and the frolicsome duo Marty and Sparky. | |||||
