Synopsis: | The Invasion of the Body Snatchers takes place in a sleepy American town where suddenly, the people don't seem themselves. Oblivious to signs that something is very wrong, they seem incapable of responding when their very existence on this planet is threatened. To the local doctor who is treating the creeping, insidious malaise, the victims seem as though they have lost the ability to connect with their fellow human beings! They seem& somehow. . . as though they are from another planet! The play follows the doctor and his childhood sweetheart as they desperately try to wake people from their alien-ated state as they, too are in danger of falling under the spell | |||||
