Synopsis: | Another play about cats (the title characters), the plot of this in-ya-face drama is the return home from prison of Winston Westphaler III; to his chagrin his widowed mother has put the house up for sale and moved in with her boyfriend the judge and with his younger brother away at school only the cats remain. He tries to hunker down and get well there but is challenged by his insatiable need for sex, drugs and revenge on the mother of his child, who had him arrested for kidnapping. Winston decides on a new course--to take care of the cats and see that their short lives are happy and comfortable. Alas, even this modest goal is too much for him. Redemption awaits--in the guise of the unguarded laughter of his brother--but not before his self-actualization has taken a terrible toll. | |||||
