Synopsis: | Czestochowa Poland, 1938 and beyond, two comical families are joined at the hip: one Catholic and one Jewish; that is, until the Nazis take away the Jewish family and leave the Catholic family to mourn. The play celebrates, by name, the actual Czestochowan Jewish teens that rebelled against their Nazi oppressors and the Czestochowan Christians who saved the lives of that city's Jews. Jan Karski, the Polish patriot is honored, as is a fish (see the play, it will make sense!). | |||||
