Andy Evans first began writing plays at the Caxton Theatre in Grimsby, England. His first plays, Death of an Island Girl and What's the Difference Between A Donkey and a Mule? were both produced and performed there in 1998, and Moonlight Marionetteswas written for Grimsby's Franklin Festival. Mr. Evans is the author and producer of fifteen plays, initially written to be performed by a young group of actors aged 12-21. His play Rodge! was published in 1999 by Schoolplay Productions in the UK. He currently heads the award-winning Caxton Youth Theatre and is active in the promotion of youth drama.

Synopsis: | Max, a ten year old, has an unshakeable belief in his guardian angel -Rodge. He also seeks to fulfil his dream - to fly! Meanwhile, the dreaded Sibbert brothers pursue him relentlessly, threatening to rip his arm off and beat him with the soggy end!
