Synopsis: | We follow the activities of staff and learners at Passmore Driving School, run by JERRY and JILL WILLIAMS. JERRY's trying to cool an ongoing affair with neurotic CELIA - and calm JILL's suspicions. Chief Assistant DENIS is verging on a breakdown, while RODNEY has difficulties teaching predatory blonde POPPY, who's fallen for him. Lonely MRS VOWLES only takes lessons for company and ex-racing driver JOHN MADDEN wants to drive again after a serious accident ended his career. With a little help from JILL, a series of encounters, comical and serious, bring a kind of resolution to some of their problems. Playing time approximately 50 minutes. | |||||
