Literary Agent:  n/a

Jonathan started writing in 2007 and achieved success with his first play Three Nil Down At Half Time. His second play Mirage 2 was premiered in 2008. Since then he has written three short plays, Not Easy, Babies and Blushes. By way of a change, he is currently trying his hand at writing a sitcom pilot. He'd like to write more but work, family and tennis seem to occupy most of his time at present. Jonathan is a former member of the Nuffield Theatre Writers' Group in Southampton led by John Burgess, a director with the National Theatre. Past members of the group include Kate Betts, who won Channel 4's The Play's the Thing (televised in June 2006), Deborah Gearing, whose debut play Burn was performed at the National Theatre to rave reviews in March 2006, Maggie Neville and others who have gone on to write for stage, radio and TV. Jonathan is a member of the Chesil Theatre in Winchester where he was last seen on stage as the hapless Mr Purdue in the Chesil's award winning production of Habeas Corpus. He has recently been assisting Platform 4 with the development of their current production of The Tempest.
