Margaret's first play, "THE VIEW FROM HERE", published by Samuel French, opened at the Lambs Theater in New York, having received readings and workshops at various theaters including Actor's Theatre of Louisville, University of Evansville, The New Harmony Project the American College Theater Festival. Her most recent play, SIGHTSEEING, winner of the Berrilla Kerr Award, opened at the Jose Quintero Theater in New York. Other plays include: "BEN'S LIFE", winner of the Playwrights Forum Award and produced by Theaterworks in Colorado Springs, "A SPILL OF LIGHT" "IL CORVO", "THE HUMMINGBIRD'S TOUR" and "A SOMETHING'S SUMMER'S SOMETHING OR OTHER", read at various theaters including the Horizon theater, the Pope Theater, Stamford theater works, the Bay Street Theater and the New Jersey Playwrights theater. Margaret has also adapted the Dickens Novel, MARTIN CHUZZLEWIT, to the stage. Her play, "THE MEADOW LANDS" was inspired by a trip she took to Cuba with the Center for International Policy.
