| Synopsis: | First, its tortured hero appals his brand-new bride by creating a woman. Then the woman he creates is mistaken by a lawyer for his dying friend's wife (who has absconded through a mirror). She impersonates the glassy departed, rescuing the friend from his death bed, only for their coffee shop date to be interrupted by a battle between hope and Death. The friend then exhibits the now-dead bride-groom's final painting. - Caroline McGinn, Time Out London | |||||
