Biography of Christian Anthony Cozier

Born on October 11, 1968 to Desmond and Elizabeth Cozier in Port-of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, my surroundings and early years were very humble. I was blessed to have a younger brother, Bernard, who was born two years later. My primary and secondary education occurred in Trinidad under the British tradition. It was here in the Land of the Blessed Trinity that I cultivated my deep Roman Catholic Faith, in large part, due to the influence of my parents, who are devout Catholics. Growing up in Trinidad and Tobago was an experience that I would never trade or regret. It was a simpler time where everyone in my neighborhood were my "parents" by proxy. There was no chance of getting away with any shenanigans because, in those days, even though my parents did not have a telephone, in some strange way, news of my wrong doings always seemed to arrive before I did. I am grateful to all my "step parents" in Diamond Vale who always looked out for my brother and me, even if we were reprimanded a few times, and deservingly so. My adolescent years were spent at Fatima College and upon graduating in 1985, I sought my tertiary education in Miami, Florida at Barry University and then subsequently, Florida International University. I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and immediately pursued my career as a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Several years later, I met my beautiful wife, Patsy and we started a family in 1999 with our first son, Andre. We were blessed to have another boy, Ryan two years later. I guess history does repeat itself. But Patsy and I were still keen on expanding our family and two years later we eventually adopted a little girl from Hunan, China, Rose Maris. She is the shinning star and the crown jewel of our family. As my career progressed, my passions evolved from a "left brained" skill set to more of a "right brained" appreciation for life, and the performing and expressive arts. This journey led me down the path to creating faith based plays for the benefit of my fellow parishioners and community within the Archdiocese of Miami. I hope to use this passion and acquired talent to spread the Good news of Salvation to all as the underlying theme in all my theatrical works. in the great words of Rush Limbaugh, "It is all talent on loan from God." The profound truth is that the talent and Glory belongs to Him now and always. Cheers!
