Synopsis:

Play treats the life and turmoil of Machiavelli as he becomes the ally of Cesare Borgia, the victim of the Medicis, the sometime patron of Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, and the inventor of the Italian Commedia which preceded the commedia dell'arte.
