Synopsis: | Luo Shen is an historic drama on the fortunes and exploits of Prime Minister Cao Meng De (Cao Cao) and his celebrated family of four brilliant sons. It deals most notably with the obsessive love between Cao Zhi, the youngest son and brilliant port, and Zhen Mi, the captive widow of a rival warlord, who was unjustly chosen by his father to be wife of his brother, Cao Pi, the future Emperor. Cao Zhi immortalized Zhen Mi in verse as LuoShen, the spirit of the River Luo. | |||||
