Synopsis: | First performance was at Hamble, Hants, by the Hamble Players. The Producer was Stuart Jacobs. Not sure of the date but it was sometime in 1963/4/5. The play is set in a stately home, and involves forged fivers, and a train-mad peer. The first act closes with a swarm of bees, and the play closes with a small railway engine entering through the French windows. FLC visited our production and had a chat with me as didn't know how to create some of the sound effects he'd written. FLC produced the play about a month later with another Hampshire amateur group (Fleet players?). John Lawler | |||||
