Notes: | Sue Carr's first play: "The play was born out of a frustration I had with some all-female plays I've read. Sexual politics are still a strong motivation behind female writing. But in this play I didn't want to discuss them. I wanted to write about four characters who just happen to be female. And I wanted to create work for four actresses."
Synopsis: | A modern, black comedy that tells the story of four women who meet in a psychiatrist's waiting room. Pre-occupied with their own problems they are the least likely group you could ever imagine to strike up a friendship. But that is exactly what they do. They argue, compromise and almost come to terms with their differences, but when one of the characters admits to murder, their loyalty is ultimately tested.
