Synopsis: | A look into the lives of five women who are over sixty-five and the pain such women endure trying to make a life for themselves in a youth-oriented society. Thus the title becomes a play on words as Fanny, the story-teller, talks of her friends and neighbors through a window. Fanny, after introducing the theme of the play through her comments and reminiscences, introduces a writer friend, an -actor friend, a neighbor relegated to a nursing home by her children and another neighbor just divorced, and discusses a magazine interview for an article about older people. | |||||
