Synopsis:

Based upon the experience of writer/ director, Clayton Buffoni, during his time living and working as a journalist in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Israel. The First Stone Thrown uses journalistic records and personal interviews, to look behind the headlines in search of the truth. In Jerusalem a bus is torn to shreds by an explosion. It is not the first and sadly, will not be the last. Palestinians and Israelis alike face a constant struggle against the easy option of hatred. Those who extend their hand to their enemy show courage. Courage that deserves reward, or at the very least, that their story is heard.
