Synopsis: | This is part of Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Winterfest 2010 Play Festival, a theatrical celebration of new work. This synopsis is provided by Manhattan Rep: "On the eve of his mother's funeral, Joey attempts one last desperate attempt at human connection before attempting suicide. His attempt fails, and after six months in a mental hospital he has to go back to the ruins of his life. Now, not only must he grapple with his identity, sexuality, and the failing relationships he has with his best friend and brother, but he is having visions of mother, telling him she has been murdered by his stepfather. This modern play is lovingly inspired by Hamlet and other classic drama. | |||||
