| Synopsis: | Pieter and Anna are a brother and sister who live in East Berlin. On the night of the 12th August 1961 Pieter goes to work at the Orchid, a cabaret club in the west of the city where he works as a drag queen. As he tries to return home the next morning he finds the way blocked by a 6ft barbed wire fence which would become the Berlin Wall. Pieter must decide whether to return home to his family or stay in the west and make a new life. | |||||
