Synopsis:
The Wood family finds themselves in the middle of a national crisis that begins when a deranged homeless man, Wally Wallace, demands his "squatter's rights" to the corner of 33rd St. and Lexington Ave. in New York City, which he's called "home" for ten years. Millions of Americans follow suit, claiming their rights to everything from school lockers to radio booths. Mr. Wood's family is not exempt from the madness, as his children use the crisis to claim their independence in this play about family, ownership, and progress at the dawn of a new century.
