Synopsis: This work-in-progress presentation was produced by Confluence Theatre Company. It consists of five staged readings of multimedia performances with social and environmental themes. Long term the project will be set outdoors in a community eco-festival setting complete with marketplace, art installation and live music. The full-scale production is planned for summer 2007. The writers involved in this incarnation included: Jessica Bowser, Bill Corsello, Clare Drobot, Brian Ferdman, and Hugh Ryan. Synopsis: It's About Time centers on Bang, a young man who hates his job and his nonexistent love life. Tired of running through life blindly, Bang commits himself to the strict, dogmatic life strategies prescribed in a self-help program called "The Praxis of IT." He believes that IT is about time. That, IT is all he needs. If Bang can just master his schedule and accomplish the goals he sets for himself, he knows that he can perfect a plan for success. But can he devise a plan for happiness? The original cast included Craig Fitzpatrick, David Lillich, Christine Ryndak, and Jenny Tibbels. It was directed by Adam Bernstein. | ||||
