Synopsis: | Arriving in New York for a weekend, Lucy hopes to rekindle a romance with Skate, who is now a promising classical dancer. To block this, Skate's possessive mentor, Cobb, lends Lucy his apartment and calls in as a counterlure Kravchinska, famous and voracious ballerina. But Kravchinska, badly mistaken, thinks Lucy is Cobb's mistress, and so she too Wants Cobb. Lucy carefully manoeuvres Skate to the apartment, and is startled to have him quickly re-establish himself in her bed. Crowing too proudly the next morning, Skate irritates both Lucy and Cobb. After a fight he bolts, leaving them to cry on each other's shoulders. . . . After enchanting Lucy, Cobb announces that he will marry her unless Skate will take her place in his life. Rejecting these terms, Skate tricks Lucy into a confrontation and wins her back. The youngsters go off, leaving Cobb to Kravchinska who is waiting to devour him. | |||||
