When Animals Dream of Sheep is a spectacular new outdoor performance bringing together theatre, music and dance from Auckland's own site-specific theatre company Winning Productions. Beginning as the summer sun goes down in picturesque Myers Park, When Animals Dream of Sheep is suitable for all ages. It explores the relationship between animals and humans and challenges how we define nature itself. Inspired by the true story of deer illegally released onto a small Dutch island and the parallel practice of culling red deer in New Zealand, When Animals Dream of Sheep will bring day-time to night-time and subconscious into reality.
